I frequent yard sales, garage sales, and porch sales. A popular item that I often find is curtains. Curtains are expensive when purchased brand new. Often people sell window coverings simply because they needed a change and recently replaced theirs. More often than not, I find that there is nothing wrong with the window treatments, other than the fact that the homeowner no longer wants or needs them. If I come across nice curtains that are in good shape and being offered at a fair price, I will buy them. Sometimes I do not put them up right away. I store them until I am ready to use them. When I decide that it is time for a change, shopping for curtains is as simple as opening up a closet and choosing a pair.

I don’t know if you’ve heard the latest buzz coming out of the tech-head community, but apparently people are starting to flip out over this whole refurbished LCD TV thing. I started looking into it because I know at some point people would ask me what I thought, and I have to say I think they hype is justified. There are some places where you can chop right around two grand off the price of a pretty sweet set. And from what I hear, you still get the warranties and all that, which is something I was personally wondering about. It might be a good option for you. Check it out.

I met a men at a local coffee shop. After a few chance meetings, he asked me if I would like to go out on a date. He seemed like a very nice man, and I graciously accepted. We made arrangements to meet that Friday night at a restaurant. Our plan was to have dinner and see a movie. At dinner, he made an announcement that shocked me. He stated that he did background checks. I thought, at first, that he was telling me a little about his profession. I assumed the words he would utter next would be something along the lines of working for a government agency. Instead, he meant that he does background checks on the women that he dates. I know that, in this day and age, you can never be too careful. But I thought this was going overboard. I may be old fashioned, but I still believe that relationships are based on trust and honesty. Needless to say, I paid my share of the check and skipped the movie. I didn’t want to take a raincheck for fear he may want to do a credit check on me too!

No doubt about it, Planet Terror DVD is fun, It`s utterly mindless and completely stupid but a terrific B movie homage. Focusing on several different characters, Planet Terror all takes place within one evening and the characters roles within a zombie outbreak. Featuring an Unrated extended version of the film, including the missing reel, the 2-Disc Extended and Unrated DVD release of Planet Terror offers a great value.
